"This was one of the most disappointing service experiences I've had with Apple.\n\nMy 4-year-old MacBook Pro suddenly lost its display and would not connect to an external monitor. I brought it to the Apple Store hoping for real diagnostics and guidance. Instead, the Genius I worked with, Matthew, attempted a revive (which didn't work) and then guessed that it was the display, quoting me $600 to fix it -- without confirming that was actually the issue.\n\nWhen I expressed frustration that a $1,500 laptop failed this quickly, I was told, "The laptop doesn't know how much you paid for it." That response felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially for a company that markets itself as premium.\n\nI didn't expect miracles, but I did expect empathy and clear answers. Instead, I walked out feeling like my concerns didn't matter and that repairing the device wasn't worth Apple's time.\n\nFor a brand built on customer experience, this was a huge letdown."

"Never came here for service and left feeling good about Apple or this particular store. \n\nCame with dead pixel issue on the phone and they refused to replace the phone even though it is under warranty. Rep wasn't particularly polite and his approach was sub. Store reeks of weed smell. \n\nI am reconsidering my 15+ years relationship with Apple products. All of the sudden Samsung and Android are looking a lot better to me."

"I walked in with a phone which couldn't receive email. I was politely told that the solution was to delete the email app and reinstall it. They couldn't do it there because my password was safely stored at home.\nI went home and called the apple store (New Haven) back because I had a question and the person supporting me by phone was patient and clear about the steps I was walked through. Happy ending was that by deleting the app and reinstalling it, my phone is once again functional handling email. That person stayed with me on the phone until it was (more than) evident that the email was reloading.\nWonderful customer service and technical help!!"
