The Building Department is responsible for issuing buildingpermits for 1-, 2- and 3-family residential structures and associated development. The State of Ohio issues commercial buildingpermits.
After each required review has been approved the permit is issued and work can begin. After a record is created, application status can be tracked through our Citizen Access Portal.
