This transition lets you keep your email address, messages, folders, calendar, and contacts. After the move, Yahoo Mail will become your email provider and Cox will no longer manage or support your email services. The transition to Yahoo Mail will not impact any of your other services with Cox.
We wanted to share that your Cox email will soon transition to Yahoo Mail. With this transition, Cox's email service and your cox.net account will move to Yahoo Mail, but you'll keep using your same cox.net email address.
I appear to have gotten this. I have an At&t email address and a Yahoo email address. Antytime i try to log into Yahoo mail, it automatically redirects me to AT&T mail.
Can you access Yahoo without using a yahoo.com URL? You could forward your Yahoo mail to another webmail account that you can access (AOL, Gmail, Hotmail and many others).
Yahoo want/need to track your usage when enabling the app password (explanation provided below). Log into Yahoo mail. Exit the browser. Start the browser again and ensure you have remained logged into Yahoo. This means that the cookies are working. Use your PC every day and visit Yahoo mail every time you use your PC.
This is ridiculous. Yahoo mail is useless to me, a paying customer, with clients and customers, if I can't access my email for 1+ hours whenever Yahoo feels like it. You know who doesn't do this? Gmail. Outlook.
Because I've been locked out of my account that I've had for over 10 years and I don't have the number that's on it anymore so I need to get back into it somehow.
I contacted Yahoo! Support, which was a joke, because after several weeks it became clear that they were only interested in pointing fingers at other things that might be causing it, instead of acknowledging the clear design flaw in Yahoo! Mail. I don't see the pop-up in Firefox, but it's still horrifically slow -- worse than in Chrome.
As of 2023, all thats left of Yahoo is Finance, Mail, News, Sports, and Search, which are all boring services that just piggyback off other news sites and services like Bing. And their premium support packages that are a total ripoff.
