The Jacksonville Jaguars defense was on its heels when facing a Las Vegas two-point attempt to win the game. DaVon Hamilton then swatted the Raiders.

The Jaguars got back to their roots on Sunday, leaning on the running game more than they have in over a month. TE Hunter Long: Injured his hip at the end of a 24-yard reception in the second quarter that was nullified by a penalty. The Jaguars were down to one tight end in Johnny Mundt (Quintin Morris was inactive) until Long was able to return in the second half.
Trevor Lawrence went into Sunday’s game at Las Vegas battling an illness, and then had trouble getting the Jaguars’ offense going. He even threw an interception into double coverage in the end zone. A third consecutive defeat was growing more likely.
Crosby did not play against the Jaguars in their 2024 meeting because of ankle surgery. Lawrence will need his offensive line to step up and deliver that type of clean performance from 2022 as Jacksonville has allowed 17 sacks in their last three outings.
