Elsewhere, starting linebacker Jimmy Rolder, fresh off his career game against Michigan State, is also out due to injury. Rolder is second on the team in tackles (52) through eight games. Reserve Cole Sullivan (arm) has also been ruled out, leaving Michigan limited at linebacker and facing question marks with the starting lineup.

The Purdue Boilermakers (2-6, 0-5 Big Ten) and the No. 21 Michigan Wolverines (6-2, 4-1) meet Saturday at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET (Big Ten Network).

As if Michigan football didn't have enough injuries at linebacker, the Wolverines are now missing three of their top four options in the unit.
