CLEVELAND — It's election day in Ohio -- and we're tracking all the updates throughout the day as voters hit the polls to decide a number of school levies, mayoral races in Cleveland, East Cleveland and Cleveland Heights, plus a variety of issues (like 1 and 2 in Summit County).
The Dispatch covered the biggest races of the night, including the contest for a Columbus City Council seat and for three positions on the school board.
In Hamilton County, there are a few big races you'll want to look out for, including Cincinnati mayor, city council and several levies.
PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Election Day in Parma Heights included incumbents running unopposed for reelection. Parma Heights Mayor Marie Gallo was elected to her second term in office. “Running unopposed for mayor is deeply humbling,” she said. “It tells me the community values stability and trust, and I don’t take that lightly.

Ohioans headed to the polls on Tuesday to vote in person for the 2025 election. News Center 7 will have the latest on Election Day and some of the key races across the Miami Valley tonight on News Center 7 at 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, and 11:00. Polls remain open until 7:30 p.m.
FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio -- It was a relatively quiet Election Day in Fairview Park. The only race came in Ward 5, where Bridget King (480 votes), who was appointed the new council president, defeated Jeffrey J. Szemplak (322 votes), according to final, unofficial results from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.
