The Dallas Cowboys agreed to trade two draft picks and Mazi Smith to the New York Jets in exchange for Quinnen Williams, league sources told UPI on Tuesday.

To bring Williams in, the Cowboys sent a second-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft, and a first-rounder in 2027, plus defensive tackle Mazi Smith to the Jets. On top of the compensation Dallas gave to New York, Williams has a hefty contract.

Both the Dallas Cowboys ' defensive overhaul and the New York Jets ' teardown continued Tuesday, with New York sending three-time Pro Bowl defensive lineman Quinnen Williams to Dallas in exchange for a 2027 first-round pick, a 2026 second-round pick and defensive lineman Mazi Smith, as reported by CBS Sports senior NFL insider Jonathan Jones.
