The 2025 World Series is all tied up heading into a pivotal Game 5 on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. The Toronto Blue Jays won Game 4 on Tuesday to make this Fall Classic 2-2 against the Los Angeles Dodgers, bouncing back after losing Game 3 in an 18-inning marathon.
The three-time MVP is now a two-time champion. He enjoyed Monday’s celebration with his wife in a way we haven’t seen before.
The star-studded Dodgers -- featuring Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts -- will return as the favorites to win the 2026 World Series, followed by the New York Yankees, Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies. The Blue Jays open at 20-1, tied with the Chicago Cubs for 11th.
While Yoshinobu Yamamoto won World Series MVP, plenty of other players stepped up for the Dodgers, including Shohei Ohtani. The reigning National League MVP had a .282 batting average this season while crushing 55 home runs and 102 RBIs. He also made 14 starts on the mound with 62 strikeouts, nine walks and a 2.87 ERA.
