Granit Xhaka scored his first Sunderland goal as the Black Cats came from behind to draw with Everton and move up to fourth place in the Premier League. Everton started brightly and led through Iliman Ndiaye's fine solo goal - picking the ball up on the right before beating several defenders and leaving the goalkeeper rooted to the spot.

To say that Sunderland’s start to the season has been eye-opening would be an understatement. For years, the club muddled around the EFL, with seemingly little hope of ever rejoining the Premiership. Yet, since the club won the Championship play-offs last season, they have ridden that wave of momentum into this campaign.
