Both the Dallas Cowboys ' defensive overhaul and the New York Jets ' teardown continued Tuesday, with New York sending three-time Pro Bowl defensive lineman Quinnen Williams to Dallas in exchange for a 2027 first-round pick, a 2026 second-round pick and defensive lineman Mazi Smith, as reported by CBS Sports senior NFL insider Jonathan Jones.
To bring Williams in, the Cowboys sent a second-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft, and a first-rounder in 2027, plus defensive tackle Mazi Smith to the Jets. On top of the compensation Dallas gave to New York, Williams has a hefty contract.
